Guest guest
I am still pretty bad at socializing with " typical " people, and I can't stand small talk most of the time. However, generally my social skills deficits are not readily noticeable, cause I tend to avoid places that are highly socially demanding, liek arties. Astrid Me too, Astrid, especially about the small talk and parties. I do not mean to patronize you, just relating to what you said. I have twins; one boy has autism. I can relate to many feelings both of my sons have. With both my sons, I can relate to anxiety and situations which produce it (different for each boy). And I have a very hard time with directions, written and verbal, and so I'm somewhat a visual learner as well. Many times I have to be shown how to do something, or fiddle around with something until I've figured out how to do it myself and that is how I often have learned how to do things. I hope you have SOMEONE looking after you, but I understand that many people regardless of who they are, do not.
