DX CHf / arrhythmia/ Dypsnea " 's insurance will not cover the morphine used for end of life comfort " " please do a prior auth form and send back " I am asked ( of course this ain't no PRIOR auth any more...) Can it get any worse ? We do not now allow morphine for end of life dyspnea and chf ? Heaven help us.( for hippaa purposes all my patients are now named . I hope their insurance company does not deny them basic pain relief and comfort care.
