Guest guest
www.nids.net and www.neuroimmunedr.comIf the yeast isn't going away, switch antifungals. Also, what's the dosage? Many DAN's don't understand it antivirals/antifungals enough to dose antifungals properly. Many go waaaay too low.I can't comment on biolilm because it's just not something NIDS does. It seems like a lot of people are finding success with it, though.Since you are seeing gains, I would not stop, I would work on the yeast issue. Look at dosage, switching, etc. If the yeast is still too high after dealing with all those things, I would think of maybe switching to another antiviral and seeing if another would produce less yeast issues.CherylHI Cheryl-I was needing more info on Dr. Goldberg and NIDS. My kids need more help than i can give them at this point and I was told to post you about Dr. Goldberg. My 2 year old has gut issues with chronic diarrhea. And both of my boys are not responding well to anti-fungal therapy. I have them on the Valtrex/MB12 protocol with Nizoral as anti-fungal. I think they are responding to the valtrex, but their yeast is just not going away. Both are on the SCD diet for about a month and valtrex protocol for 18 days now. I was considering Dr. Usman's Biofilm protocol. WHat do you think? We are getting some gains. Do I just need to wait it out to see if the Valtrex protocol will work for them? Thanks, Cheryl!Rhonda
Guest guest
Sorry, I meant to add that I'm happy to answer any questions about NIDS or Dr. G. Guest guest
You have onlybeen on the protocol for 18 days....that is too soon to judge it imo...we are three months into it and THAT may be too soon to judge it too....at 18 days Matt was actually looking WORSE than ever...and then he turned a corner and we started seeing gains, but gut issues were a big problem and still are a problem. We still have yeast issues and bacteria and we are three months into it...I think clearing the yeast takes time, but I could be wrong. > > > HI Cheryl- > > I was needing more info on Dr. Goldberg and NIDS. Guest guest
Thanks, Cheryl. We are getting more regression today, but I just found your post about giving the Valtrex 3 hours apart. I was giving it 6 hours apart! My older son seems to be reacting now (he didn't seem to before). Boy, is he cranky! He also has a fever and lethargy. So, I'm actually happy with what's going on. I will wait to see how their yeast looks in a few months. I get so impatient! Thank you Cheryl! Rhonda > > > > > > > HI Cheryl- > > > > I was needing more info on Dr. Goldberg and NIDS. Guest guest
I get so impatient! I just want this to help my boys so bad. I plan on talking to the doctor today about increasing the dosage of Nizoral from 50 mg/ml to 100 mg/ml. I went up by myself and they seem to be doing better, seeing more gains. Thank you for letting me know it's too soon to tell yet. I am still getting lots of green poop from both. I think they are still emptying lots of bad bacteria and yeast. Thank you for the info!
