Guest guest
It has less to do with veggies appropriately cooked for human consumption, esp human consumption in anyone with GI issues, the autism, per him is linked to the wholesale ading of indigestible things to food stuffs targeted at at fed to kids...the Kellog's phenomena...the worst thing you could ever feed a kid is skim pasteurized milk and manufactured cereals esp high fiber ones, but the kids ones are very bad too and often high in sugar weird additives and preservatives....sorbitol in everything, high fructose corn syrup in everything, MSG, and SOLUBLE fiber in kids yogurts - things like Dannon treats and fruit leathers and granola bars...all that contributed to the autism epidemic that is " treatable " - reversable in most cases if the malabsorption and malnutrition and constant exposure to toxic fermentation and putrification is arrested in time....apparently the soluble fiber is one of the very very bad things and it is everywehre by different names...pectin agar agar carageenan I think were a handful mentioned.... Anyway, this is his theory and as for selling products his are not useful to the very young kids unless they are willing to drink 4-6 oz of stuff that does not taste great...this is more to help the parents as they heal themselves they will get better at healing their kids. These kids appear in families where there are undiagnosed bowel and GI issues...that lead to all the other autoimmune presentations per him...you have gi and bowel stuff long berofre you have diabetes, cancer, candida overgrowth etc. He also conceeds that amalgam fillings are an issue and often fill the mouths of parents with kids who are extreme in their ASD symptoms. Also, great big starbucks coffees trend means mercury is leached at a faster rate from amalgam fillings esp old ones bc caffein does that and those coffess are ENORMOUS with lots of added sugar and then you top it off with fake milks, soy milks (really bad) or pasteurized milks - which are not milk anymore when examined carefully...as margarine is not butter just because it looks like it, sometimes tastes like it, and is marketed as being better than the real thing...but leave it out on a ledge and NO insects will eat it, ever, and it will melt but not mold as it cannot even sustain that sort of parasitic life.... I think there is much in the SCD that lines up with what he is saying, but the SCD does not deal well for IBS and constipation I think...as it recommends stewed prunes etc...all the old fiber stuff and he says that is the exact WRONG thing to give in those cases. Products that he distributes are for those people who need to heal and restore bowel funtion and regularity esp after being incorrectly rxd FIBER...for some diet changes are enough, but take longer...and for our kids mag citrate was the only thing he gave a thumbs up to, but it is when and how it is given and what follows for toilet training that will determine healing and getting off of it...as it is not safe long term. Nothing is..the closest thing he could find with no long term consequence was the high dose vitamin c that became hydro c...one of the big things that makes the SCD effective for so many is the removal of the indigestible and unsuitable for human esp kid consumption and over time that is a huge benefit and if is a diet when not done for the spectrum that has the milk proteins back in but not all the grains...if you do have intolerances this routes them out but it is a better match with straightforward GI issues than autism I think bc the kids that completely well on it that may be because they actually were the kind of kids that this mand addresses...and others who have far more metals and other things in addition to GI stuff, maybe it cannot help them as completely...I do not know. Interesting stuff though....Di
