Guest guest
I have a 2 1/2 year old son that likes to stack things a certain way. If you move just one in an opposite direction....meltdown and tantrum. He also has to cut his light off and on several times once he goes to bed.....like this....turn lights off, tuck in, shut door, he's up, lights on, repeat this sequence a few times and then he is in the bed for good. Could this be the beginning of OCD, or would you just say, forget it terrible twos and it's just part of it. I have 4 children and my oldest son has done the handwashing thing, shoes tied just a certain way - we did that for years, till I just bought some VANS, the sock thing, he does the germ thing somewhat now and we are severely in the thick of the bad thoughts " causing him to lose his salvation " . We are seeing our pastor regularly and it is helping to have " homework " . He has never taken meds for this and never been " professionally " diagnosed. I feel positive though my oldest son has OCD. We are dealing with it daily, but we rely mostly on grace and patience. So back to my question? Could my younger son be showing signs of OCD? I feel anxious about two children having daily meltdowns..... Thank you ahead for any response!! A
