Guest guest
I believe that two are related, personally...I think bacteria creates the anxiety and aggression and yeast creates the fog and spaciness - IMO > > > > Does clostridia cause constipation as well as diahrea? Guest guest
Is there a natural way to treat Clostridia? Re: Re: Clostridia question - Can it cause sensory issues? Does Clostridia cause sensory issues? I know my two boys struggle with sensory issues that I have always attributed to yeast but they are on diflucan and I am wondering if we need to treat for bad bacteria as well and just wonder if many of their recent sensory issues (such as all of a sudden being afraid of stuffed animals and our pet cats) are bacteria related. Thanks for any help. Danaamysmith_lasvegas <amysmith_lasvegas> wrote: My son has been a chronic "constipation kid" for along time now. He never ever had the diarrhea issue. We found out he was "loaded" with yeast and his bacteria level was also high. I may be a good person to answer this question because we are treating the bacteria and the yeast separately so there is currently no confusion as to which treatment is causing what. We are currently addressing the clostridia issue first with 30 days of Flagyl. Within only days of having my son on this medication, he began having regular bowel movements. In fact, he goes basically daily now and sometimes twice, which is huge for him! I'm hoping this will make the die off easier when we start Diflucan soon (he had one previous die off which was HORRIBLE because he was SO constipated...didn't have a BM for 3-4 days!). Treating his clostridia has worked wonders for our son.>> Does clostridia cause constipation as well as diahrea? Guest guest
Culturelle is supposed to work well. It does have a trace amount of casein in it, so if that is potentially an issue I'd definitely be aware of that. I've also read berberine complex and OLE works well for some folks for bacterial issues. HTH Tina Handley wrote: Is there a natural way to treat Clostridia? Guest guest
We've had luck treating clostridia with a combination of natural approaches and medications. We were hesitant to do the meds, but agreed that we'd do them one time to get the massive kill then maintain low levels with diet (SCD) and s. boulardii, probios. So far, based on the decrease in 's aggression, we're doing okay. He still has bloating. his doc suggests keeping an open mind to doing the meds again, as spores can cause the clostridia to return. we're holding off on that decision until we go through the antifungal treatment. had loose BMs while on the meds and for a few days after. otherwise, been doing very well in that area. and he's been making great progress in compliance, frustration tolerance...just an easier kid in general. so, I think it's safe to say he has more days of feeling good than bad now Kari > > > > Does clostridia cause constipation as well as diahrea? Guest guest
In my opinion, it is caused by mercury poisoning in the brain and the nerves and everything that falls apart or becomes a new burden thereafter. Not just by yeast. My sons sensory issues were the first sign of his autism to us. Chlostridia is known to cause psychological behaviors. I believe a while back I read an excerpt on it and its relation to schizophrenia. I believe chlostridia can affect the brain, as does everything else though. What came first. Certain supplements are known to increase anxiety and stims as well- like too much calcium, B6 and P5P and even B12. This is why we must be careful as far as dosing and closely monitoring each supplement we give to our kids, so if there is a change in behavior we can recognize the culprit. Autistic people are often oversensitive to sensory input. This can cause them to be overwhelmed by common sensory experiences such as stores, pools, noise. Undersensitivity can also be a problem. People who are undersensitive to sensory input may self-stimulate (stim) or even self-injure in order to get the input their nervous system requires. Commonly there is a mix between oversensitivity and undersensitivity which may fluctuate randomly. > > > > > > Does clostridia cause constipation as well as diahrea? Guest guest
Here is an article I found on yeast and its effect on the brain, and organic acids tests that reveal a high level of tartaric acid? which I have not really heard of until now: http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/autism-information.html > > > > > > > > Does clostridia cause constipation as well as diahrea?
