Guest guest
" Currently, the " unorganized militia " is expected to come up when the Supreme Court again considers the laws pertaining to the right to possess firearms. " You know what bugs me? Two things: 1) Everyone is taught what the constitution and what all the ammendments mean, or else they are taught where the information they need to understand them can be found. But nevertheless, it seems that there are always people challenging the constitution, and always with ignorant arguments. 2) When people lose a challenge, they whine that the judges that made the decision were obviously conservative (or liberal - depending on what the decsion was) and then that is the end of it....but they don't think to try and ammend the constitution. Getting somenthing heard by the Supreme Court isn't easy, but with all the cases that peope WANT to be tried on the Supreme Court level, one would think that it would be easier to drum up public support and get an ammendement passed. But just about everyone who is sane, including the challengers, knows that the public likes things the way they are in regard to the right to bear arms, or free speech, or whatever. If we didn't, we would have ammended the constitution a long time ago or overthrown the government. All this boils down to one simple statement: Why don't the radical minorities learn that they can't bully their own beliefs into existence and just learn to live like the rest of us do? Is it REALLY so hard? Tom Administrator
