Valtrex at night? Why normal dose if half life is 5 hrs....

Just wondering as we do 250 mg three times a day with about 5 hours

between doses....what about the fact that at night he goes well past

five hours btw when he goes to bed and when he gets up? Just

wondering....thanks. Di
