Its amazing that a land Court had that much sense. Still, we'll have to see what happens when this gets kicked up a few more levels in the courts, if it does.

http://www.news-medical.net/?id=34356land Court rejects Thimerosal - autism linkWyeth has announced that The Honorable Stuart R. Berger of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in Baltimore, land, has granted Wyeth's motion to preclude plaintiffs' expert witnesses in an alleged vaccine injury case from testifying that exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines can cause autism. The court's decision, in the case of Blackwell, et al. v. Sigma Aldrich, Inc., et al., followed a 10-day evidentiary hearing held last August.Judge Berger found that "thimerosal in vaccines does not cause or contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism," noting that "it is generally accepted in the relevant scientific community that autism is genetic in origin except in rare instances of prenatal exposures to certain substances at defined periods during pregnancy."Judge Berger held that plaintiffs had failed to show that the methodologies underlying their expert witnesses' opinions are generally accepted as reliable in the scientific community. He also held that plaintiffs' expert witnesses were not qualified "by knowledge, skill, experience, training or education" or that they could not set forth a sufficient factual basis to support the causation opinions that plaintiffs wished to present to the jury."We believe that the court's decision is in complete accord with the overwhelming scientific evidence that there is no link between vaccines and autism. The court correctly applied land law to bar unfounded opinion testimony on scientific issues," says J. ch, lead trial counsel for Wyeth in this litigation, who is a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

What the court did concede was that Thimersol does exaserbate already

preexisting autism(as in lead poisioning) the already suseptible

child is given a second whammy with the substance. The inital case

of blackwell is being given her injury damages. Read the case before

you decide. That child was repeatatedly fed vaccines that her

compromised system couldn't process. I think the case was a win.

Dr's need to pay more attention, because not knowing doesn't mean

damage doesn't occur. All the push them through insurance and mill

run Dr's offices like cows to the slauter house has an effect.

Children aren't #'s they are individual and because there is such a

removal of personal intrest(bed-side what??)children adults and

healthcare suffer

Mimi brings up an excellent point here.

Autism is not caused by Thimersol, but nevertheles, the mercury

component of vaccines cannot possibly be a good thing for ANY child

and is/was best eliminated. I should think that if the autistic

physiognomy is more delicate or different than that of an NT (or even

if it is the same) piling on a toxin onto their metabolisms and

injecting it into their bodies is not going to help matters.
