Guess I should have read the manual last night. I didn’t realize

it takes HOURS for the paraffin to melt. I guess I didn’t really think

about it and figured I’d do a treatment this morning. Jackie, you

probably had a salon-quality machine larger than the Homedics one I bought

yesterday, but do they take a really long time to melt?

Thanks, Dorothy

Yep,, they really DO take that long to melt,, I had the same kind, thats all that was available back then,, not sure if there is anything more 'professional' out these days or not.. we used to just leave them plugged in all the time.. never shut it off so it was always hot and ready, even in the am..
