Guest guest
i spoke with jon bertman @ AC yesterday; he is working very hard on the sequel version of AC, and anticipates an alpha version will be tested soon, exactly when, not sure. from my perspective as an AC user, i use the PM portion of AC, and it works for me. as i've said previously, it's not very robust, and it is missing two features which should be included in the new version, or coming soon thereafter, and they are the accounts receivable and aging functions. i work around that ccurrently by going to the PM section and reviewing all bills one month at a time, and that works fine. recently i was sent an email from the AC user's board asking if i had had any problems with things not adding up correctly, and i have not; everything is working fine for me. i did ask jon about this, and he said that the PM portion of AC never has been fully tested, and that's why one gets the warning about it's use. wrt an electronic clearing house, there is an export from AC to OA, it is not perfect, however quite usable, some simple corrections are required in OA once the billing file has been uploaded and it goes to claim fix. i have been using this system since 12/2006, and once the AC to OA interface was worked out, which took some time, i have had no significant problems with it; as a matter of fact, my assistant does all of this on her own. some of the above is a reiteration of previous posts, i apologize in advance for the repetition.
