I read on Stan's website regarding the MB12 nasal spray trmts that some patients are using folnic acid in addition to the nasal spray. What is the best form of folnic acid to use? My son daily takes a b complex 100 tablet which includes folnic acid 100mcg made by Nature's Plus. Is this a sufficient form of folnic acid? My son who has regressive autism has recently started taking the MB12 Nasal spray, and I have been pretty impressed with how alert he is. In my research on the MB12 nasal spray, I missed the folnic acid information, so I did not have this information when I presented it to his pediatrician.Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Rolli No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG. Guest guest
Our DAN recommended folinic from Thorne, its called Folacal. He suggested 1 to 2 capsules, 1 to 2 times a day. Each cap is 800mcg. We were able to creep slowly upto 1 cap 1 time a day after several months following considerable viral and bacterial detox. My son in addition, takes Folapro from Metagenics. We added the Folinic later. I still do not quite understand what the folinic vs the folapro do - and keep forgetting to ask at the appt.
