you can always check titers to see if it will help bring them down, if not I would do just a low dose daily and see if it helps

Hi,I want to try this as well to treat the viral problems with my son because he :- had a VERY SERIOUS measles outbreak after his MMR-vaccination on his 18th month of his life, he had a lot of measles on his tongue, in his hair, in his nose, in and on his ears and all over his face.- he has gut problems and is a very picky eater. In general he has major problems with attention in school and also his receptive and expressive language is not age-related.I don't know anything about his IgG rubeola antibodies or other neural antibodies.Do you think that it is wise and healthy to give him high dose Vitamin A and see what it gets me ? YES! My son is a big visual stimmer and he never had the MMR shots, so no titers here. Personally, I believe that they are "viral" in general and possibly show a visual dysfunction caused by said viruses. (He had lots of other vaccines, unfortunately, but not the MMR.)

that is what i THOUGHT the protical was, thank you, so to vicki you only used 20% of that dose, so that may be why you didn't see more with it

Hi,

I’m about to try to high vit. A protocal for chronic nose running on my NT child. Did some research on this and Vit A got out as the n°1 thing to try. So it could be addressing more than just MMR (wasn’t vaccinated and didn’t get it).

Just waiting for the supps getting delivered (always stuck at customs, drives me crazy)

ummm, HIGH dose is being recommended for a runny nose????????!!!!????? I would be very carefull with that, vit A is used in high numbers due to the measels eating up the vit A leaving the body low in it, so the immune system shuts down.....runny nose to me indicates first an allergy needing to be looked at, I would proceed with causion. vitamine A can be harmful done at high levels, if not needed

I am ordering some soon and going to give this a try. After seeing it mentioned here that A helps with visual stimming and realizing we have now been off CLO which had the extra A they were getting it all made sense. My kids have been getting worse and worse with the visual stims since stopping CLO. This is to the point that I got an email from my daughters teacher yesterday (she was stimming on the lights in the room and the wheels on her tricycle and riding into the walls) and my son actually didn't want to get off the bus yesterday because he was stimming on the flashing stop sign that pops out the side. It went from bad to really bad very quickly. They get A in their vitamins but I guess it isn't enough for this problem. My sons behavior is so bad that I feel like we suddenly went to where we were a year ago. I hope you have good luck with this. Please post how you make out with it.

Cod Liver Oil--it has vitamin A and D in it. I guess that was what was helping with the stimming. But I never realized how much! This is a crazy house right now! I need some vitamin A fast!

I am thinking of just adding a drop every other day to see if it helps with the stimming. The A is the only thing that they are not getting the same dose of anymore and they are stimming like mad. My daughter is worse than she originally was with it.

Is there a certain OLE that is better than the rest or is it okay to pick one up at the healthfood store? I think both these things will really help with my kids.
