Guest guest
I have a few questions, I'm hoping to get some help with. First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times after being given his supplements. I don't think it's a sensory thing, but it's 10-15 min after taking them, not right away. Recently, I've added Milk Thistle, Transfer Factor, Magnesium and Grape Seed Extract. Could any of these be toxic? and/or cause nausea? I have a friend with 2 children on the spectrum, ages 2 and 3. When I met, about 8 mos ago, the 2 year old was NT. Now, she's severely autistic. She had a diaper rash that was actually yeast. She pulls her hair habitually and doesn't sleep. My friend called me yesterday and told me her daughter had been putting things in her nose, most recently the stuffing from her mattress. Has anyone else experienced this/heard of this? Do you know what causes this, and what can alleviate it? TIA for all your help, Kim ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ You rock. Guest guest
Can you try to break the doses up of the supplements? I know my son used to vomit if I gave him too high a dose of Carnosine. He was fine if it was divided into two doses and given in the morning and afternoon. But the full dose at once didn't agree with him. -------------- Original message -------------- I have a few questions, I'm hoping to get somehelp with.First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times afterbeing given his supplements. Guest guest
I would remove them and add them back one at a time until you find the culprit. Start slow and build each one up.As far as your friends child, it sounds like she needs some biomedical help something fierce. Not sleeping can be many things but my first two thoughts are diet and yeast. I can't pin point hair pulling or stuffing things up her nose to anything but seriously, she needs some biomedical attention in my opinion. Have they tried anything?CherylI have a few questions, I'm hoping to get somehelp with.First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times afterbeing given his supplements. Guest guest
OMG...that poor little kid. That mom should give enzymes before any and every bite of food that goes into that little girl from now on. She should get an rx for an antifungal, an anti bacterial, am amtiviral, and I would do a parasite cleanse if my kid was pressing things into any opening of his body. I would start making bone broth chicken soup and only give a pref food item if they first drink a squirted tsp of broth...I would cut all grains, c carbs, and starches for now....diet changes first, then the antifungal and antibacterial...then valtrex...and then some supps etc... As for your post...I think I just read that milk thistle and GSE are TROUBLE, big time, for a child with oxalate issues....perhaps your daughter has those...our son does and takes enzymes with everything. We purchased, but plan to return, the milk thistle supps we just got. Not all kids tolerate GSE. Try the enzyme route...N0o Fenol is really helping with yeast issues in our house and has also resulted in our extremey picky eater trying some new foods! Good luck. > > I have a few questions, I'm hoping to get some > help with. > > First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times after > being given his supplements. Guest guest
It may be milk thistle. One of the side effect is upset stomach, see the link. http://nccam.nih.gov/health/milkthistle/#cautions Grape seed extract also have minor side effect--nausea. See the http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/health-supplements/grape-seed-extract.htm Rei Kim wrote: I have a few questions, I'm hoping to get somehelp with.First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times afterbeing given his supplements. Guest guest
Milk Thistle gave me painful stomach problems taken with or without food. There are liver detoxes with clay -- look into that. re: Things in the nose could be sinus infections, or fungal overgroth in the nasal cavity. We use Now Activated Nasal Mist with great success. We had this problem more w/ the ears, same thing but we use nutribiotic ear drops. Neither remedy will do more than a spot cure. That girl sounds like she's got a big yeast problem that need to be treated by a DAN who will give her anti-fungals -- my opinion. > > I have a few questions, I'm hoping to get some > help with. > > First, my 3 y/o has vomited several times after > being given his supplements.
