Guest guest Posted March 15, 2006 Report Share Posted March 15, 2006 Well, I made some kombucha using molasses sugar instead of my usual white sugar...I brewed, in every other way, exactly the same as i do with all my other brews, only difference was the type of sugar. Result.... UNDRINKABLE!! Tasted absolutely vile, smelled very vinegary, but made a big fat scoby, which is settled on the top of a fresh brew using white sugar now. I'll NEVER do that again.
