Guest guest
Very nice, . Stress is mysterious. As you know, I also have Wegener's Granulomatosis. I'm sure stress isn't my friend, but I don't know if stress is always a trigger. Right now I am going through a great deal of stress--some good and some bad. My daughter and her fiance have just found a house to buy--their bid was accepted--after months of looking. This means they will be moving out of our house in Feb. and I will really miss them, but I know it is time for them to move. They will only be 15 minutes away. Also, I have a pending Worker's Comp suit because I got sick with WG after being exposed to 30 year old insulation dust at the school where I used to work. My hearing is next Monday. The worst is that we have just learned that my husband's dear 88 year old mother is in the hospital, refusing meds, and taking out her iv. She has congestive heart failure and oesteoarthritis and is tired of suffering. She lives in Toledo, Ohio, and we live in Cincinnati. We will be going up there on Saturday. They want to bring her home and let hospice come in, if Medicare will approve. I hope they do. She's a real homebody and would hate to die in a hospital--as would we all, I think. My husband and I will probably go up and wait with his brother who has become her caregiver. He never married. However, I had to tell him that I couldn't come up to stay until after Monday, when my hearing is. She is my kids' last grandparent. All of this is very stressful. Plus I had chemo yesterday. I am doing my best to turn all this over to God, who will help prevent a flare, if that is God's will. So stress is a biggy and a lot of time our attitude is all we have control over!
