Guest guest Posted January 28, 2008 Report Share Posted January 28, 2008 Oh my goodness...I have read that they do also treat it with Plasmapherisis too...and unfortunately that is how I got the HepC to begin with back in 1988 (lol). Plasmapherisis is how they treat the TTP blood disease I have and it's totally not fun. They have to set a catheter (central line) either in your groin or clavicle. If it's in the clavicle, you can do it outpatient but it still takes hours and lots of blood products. I was hoping it could be treated in another way... > > I don't believe that's what it is called.
