Guest guest
when i first started working with the boy i had, you all can tell i am a talker, i always talked to him, and the dr who comes into help theis boy said he loved the way i talked to him and preparred him for each transition. the boy and i would , ok i did the talking he did the parroting, i would do it over and over untill i knew he for sure understood it. then slowly we enter into the new step.. it worked for us, he was 10 last yr.5th grade when we go back in sept. agressive behavier worse at age 5 My son is 5 and his fits have gotten much worse. When he was diagnosed at age 2 he had a very good temperment he handled change well and sat quitly at restuarants .When he was diagnosed at age 2 I even thought the diagnosis might be wrong or he was a mild case. Now things have gotten bad I cant take him to new places (he lays on the ground and wont go in)Has many fits a day and he is so obssesed with food .Is this normal to see a regression around this age?We tried mediacation but he got worse so we will try a different one but I need a little break right now.He definatly has his moments where he is so good but that can change the minute you cant give in to what he wants .He starts speech on Tues. but I am afraid he wont go in.any suggestions or help with this?No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Is he having tantrums or fits as in seizures/convulsions. I see in my son the same thing - he is now 7 and when little didn't see much of the autistic traits but I see more now and they seem far worse. I think it is because at his age the gap between him and his peers is widening because they seem to be maturing in their behaviour but his just doesn't. It is funny when a 18 mth or 2 year sits on the floor in the middle of the supermarket but not when a 7 year does it. Also I think as their brain matures they find more things to be anxious about. Also with my son he has learning disabilites and functions at the level of 18 mth to 2 years and I think he is going through the terrible 2's Meliisa agressive behavier worse at age 5 My son is 5 and his fits have gotten much worse. When he was diagnosed at age 2 he had a very good temperment he handled change well and sat quitly at restuarants .When he was diagnosed at age 2 I even thought the diagnosis might be wrong or he was a mild case. Now things have gotten bad I cant take him to new places (he lays on the ground and wont go in)Has many fits a day and he is so obssesed with food .Is this normal to see a regression around this age?We tried mediacation but he got worse so we will try a different one but I need a little break right now.He definatly has his moments where he is so good but that can change the minute you cant give in to what he wants .He starts speech on Tues. but I am afraid he wont go in.any suggestions or help with this?
