Guest guest
Dear , I have some prior experience with using clay baths. What I have used is bentonite. It is very " drawing " . I've also used it internally. I've also used it for topically on wounds. It is used for all that and much more. I have a friend who just ordered the clay bath from this website. My only real comment on it is that it is probably " good " , but it is also pretty expensive. The local health food store where I live sells bentonite in the bulk herbs section. (That's the kind I use if I want to take it internally or use small amounts topically). When I used to take clay baths, I bought bentonite from a clay store. The difference in price is gigantic. I haven't taken any clay baths since I've been doing the mercury detox...... let us know how you like it! I've also used all kinds of herbs and things in baths too. I don't know what kind of herbs are in the clay bath mix. I don't think the website says that? regards, Moria RESPONDING TO: Message: 13 Date: Thu, 15 Feb 2001 00:59:52 -0000 From: john.gilfillan@... Subject: clay detox baths Does anyone have any experience or views about detox baths? The company that provides clays for use in detox baths (see http://www.magneticclay.com) claim great success in pulling out heavy metals and other toxins – better than conventional chelation. While they have very limited experience with treating toxic children, they state the effects have been positive. I understand saunas are also used to excrete toxins through the skin but this is really discussed on this list as an adjunct to chelation. I take it that excretion through the skin would help pull out metals loosened from the brain and add to the usual means of elimination – urine and skin. Can anyone foresee or know of adverse effects from using a clay dissolved in water as a detox treatment?
