Guest guest
Our son , now 7, did the same. We spent a lot of time encouraging speech. We had great success the Hannen language program. It helped us to better understand how to develop communication with our son. Go to the site to find out about the book "More than Words" ( it helped us so much!)http://www.hanen.org/programs.shtml [ ] HELP Babbling, Throat Noises Driving Me Crazy Does anyone have any advice on a 4.2 yr old who constantly babbles and makes noises from his throat, grinds his teeth, which seems to be keeping him from attending and learning? We have been chelating for 3 1/2 months and are now considering using medicine to help reduce these behaviors to help him focus to learn.Any advice would be appreciated, Kerry

I would be curious to hear any suggestions myself. I know that OT does help with the grinding, also with the throat vibrations. My son craves sensory input to the mouth area.
