Paying Medicare Deductible 1st for Immunos?

Just off the phone with CVS and then with

Medicare re payment of immunos for a patient with Medicare A & B secondary to

a commercial insurance – Medicare is saying the patient has to meet the

2008 $135 Medicare B copay (for any Medicare B services) before Medicare will

fully cover the copays for the immunos.

Just wonder about other people’s

experiences with such a scenario?

true. We often don't bump into this scenario b/c some other provider's Part B claim(s) were processed before the pharmacy's, so the deductible was already met
