Tracking down the root cause of symptoms like that can be really tough. Have you started any new supps lately? Have you added/taken out any foods? Is there any chance he picked up an infection at a pool party? Is there any discharge from his ears or nose? Is there or has there been a rash-even briefly, since doing HBOT? Have his stools or urine changed? Are there dark circles or other signs of infection? Is there a fever or swollen lymph nodes? If it was me, I would be asking your DAN to test for strep, clostridia viruses and other aerobic pathogens. HBOT can also dump metals in some kids, which could stir up yeast. I have tried to get people to consider that as kids are in the process of healing, they may be using up certain nutrients too quickly that get depleted, and then you see

other problems. For example, rapid tissue healing can deplete potassium, B12 supplements can lower potassium, certain antibiotics can lower B12 and CO-Q 10 levels, etc. A simple check of his electrolyte status, or a trial of a probiotic to see if things improve might give you a direction to move in.

Keep posting-I hope you get relief soon

What has anyone had success with decreasing stimming/hyperactiv ity with extra supps such as b6?

====>I have heard parents' report of success with Benfotiamine (coenzyme B1) and IP6, which I confess I don't know the difference between this (IP6) and plain old inositol which you might also try. Vitamin A is said to be good for neurological issues. I've never tried these supplements for this reason.

Hope your little guy is better soon.

After mHBOT my son is still increasingly hyper and stimmy (like I've never seen him). I've given it a month..like everyone said.. this weekend was the last straw..he's over the top.Help!Has anyone tried Pediacalm?
