Your story is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing. My son is 17 and your story brought back some things that I had forgotten about...but had met all of his developmental milestones early and ahead of his twin sister beginning with 9-10 apgar scores, earned the name "Mr. Personality" (I was concerned about his sister bc she slept so much had to wake her to eat, minimal eye contact, etc).... began catching up with him around 1 year. lost everything after 18 month vaccinations, became an empty shell. He lost what speech he had left at age 3 after a tetanus shot. He still cannot talk, but his eye contact is exceptional now and his personality began shining through once again around age 6 after ditching drugs and going to natural supplements, treatments and lots of love and attempting to enter his world instead of forcing him into ours. He has a twin sister with sensory issues and a sister 2

years older with ADD, OCD, but attending college to be a pediatric OT. makes "lists" when she feels stressed. She gets very frustrated bc she cannot focus at times. She was trying to take an exam online last night...having a meltdown hitting the keyboard and screaming at the dog because "There is too much going on, can't focus" There was no one else in the room, the TV was not on. I told her she needs to calm down to be able to focus and she just says "Don't talk to me, you don't understand." Hopefully she can talk about it today.
