Guest guest
Friends, I had a local compounding pharmacy make me up some liquid DMSA. It came in a very small bottle with a skinny little syringe and it smells sulphury like a match after it's struck. I didn't like the fact that white powder separated and settled each time we set the bottle down . We have to really shake it to mix it up for the next dose. I just got a new bottle that I ordered from a compounding pharmacy out of state. The bottle is much larger with a larger syringe. It smells like rotten eggs as I have heard mentioned by many people. There was a huge difference in price. Around 60 dollars for the first bottle, 140 for the second. They contain the same amount of DMSA. Can anyone explain this? I am afraid I gave her poor quality DMSA. Or I am afraid that I really got ripped off by the other pharmacy. Reagan takes the first stuff with no fussing. I am afraid she won't like the new stuff. Help! What would make them smell different? Lynette
