If you triple the recipe, only use 1/2 tsp extract.)1/4 cup sifted coconut flourIn a saucepan at low heat, melt butter and stir in cocoa powder. Remove from heat and let cool. In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; stir in cocoa mixture. Whisk coconut flour into batter until there are no lumps. Let the batter rest for 4 to 5 minutes to allow it to thicken slightly. Drop batter by the teaspoonful on a greased cookie sheet. (It will spread and flatten, to be sure to allow plenty of room between them.) Bake at 350 for 14 minutes. Makes about 16 cookies. between 0000-00-00 and 9999-99-

Guest guest
OH! I see it now. It's my sister in law's recipe that she sent me to try. She probably forgot to omit the " sugar " from the instructions and instead type " honey " . Anyway, she said her kids love these. > CHOCOLATE COOKIES > > These make a very flat, soft cookie that tastes like chocolate cake. > > 1/4 cup butter or coconut oil > 1/3 cup cocoa powder > 3 eggs > 1/4 c honey > 1/4 tsp salt > 1/4 tsp gf vanilla (for peppermint choco cookies, substitute 1/4 tsp > mint extract for vanilla. Guest guest
These are NOT SCD! just a warning in case anyone thinks their scd kids can have them. Cocoa is not SCD. Doesn't matter how pure and natural, it just isn't. -s
