Guest guest
" The urge to eat it was getting so strong I was literally pulling it out of the skillet as it was frying (picture a CAVE MAN!!) and I was ravenously nibbling it, all of it very RARE and bloody, the hot juices running off my chin. Guest guest
Hello Tony! " In the INCURABLES, Dr. Henry Bieler describes how he was able to rescue children who were dying of leukemia by stopping all milk products and feeding them raw chopped liver. I happen to love raw liver and have always preferred my meat very, very raw--so raw is just fine for me. Yum, I see that yuuck look on your face. That's because you have never tried raw meat. Boy, have you ever been conditioned (brainwashed)! How about sashimi? That's raw fish, a delicacy in Japan. I love it. " From THE SECRET GUIDE TO HEALTH, by Wayne Green. - Dr. Bieler wrote another book, FOOD IS YOUR BEST MEDICINE. That is the book that started me on my search for foods that cure cancer 30 years ago. Guest guest
Sorry Will, It's just the way you described your liver dinner, made me wonder if you'd have even noticed if someone swapped it for human liver. Supernatural? I don't know I heard this howling at midnight on the last full moon. Tony Re: Food as Medicine > Tony, no,no, please don't go there. Werewolves are SUPERNATURAL and > ATTACK HUMANS!! Guest guest
Hi Phil. Thanks for the recommended reading. I will definitely check it out. In my message to Will, there was no disrespect to y'all raw meat eaters. I just thought his description was very creative and as I was reading it I pictured a scene from a werewolf movie I had once seen, so I felt the need to comment. I'm one of the lucky few in the world that can't be conditioned despite your accusation. Fact remains that I like my steak hot and so I will continue to cook it. I've tried raw fish, and I don't like raw fish neither. Guest guest
Thanks Tony, I appreciate the clarification. It wasn't that many years ago that our relatives tortured people to death because they had been labled as these demonic beings. It's scary to even get close to it especially if you are the target. Ouch! Regarding meat eating, not everyone should eat it and we all need to listen to our true body sensations and limitations. I was a strict vegetarian for over 20 years. I don't regret it, but I won't do it again. That's just me. I do see many people who could benefit by some B12, carnitine, and good fats. For those who DO chose to eat meat, many people (especially in MN!) have had their FOOD PASSION squished out of them by decades of eating dead, overcooked, overprocessed, burnt, and flavorless foods. They become AFRAID of any food with flavor, color, spice, texture, or a non-tofu appearance. Breadings, gravy and ketchup is slathered on everything. Kids now see Mc literally PICKING hamburgers off of sunflower plants! Kids have no clue where milk comes from! Many have never seen chicken or fish with bones! All their meat comes frozen and covered with the same foofy and amorphous breading! Chicken McNuggets! Fish sticks! Still, I've got hope for you, that if you continue to explore whole, natural, wild, and even raw foods, you will also regain your passion for eating with gusto and it will no longer be frightening. Guest guest
Will, I want to reiterate that I really enjoy reading your posts. There is something about your writing style, I think it's your selection of adjectives and verbs. Your words take any hint of self-righteousness away from your intent to inform. I can't never seem to mix the fun with the facts when I want to strongly relay a message. I don't invite response, so I don't get response. At least I know it. Right? You know what else, you don't write like your writing. You write like your face to face with your reader. I can't seem to do that either. Oh well, I probably wouldn't have as much fun reading your stuff if I wrote like you. We sure do have a lot more freedom nowadays to be our unique selves without being deemed mutant as were your times. It's too bad people first had to be brainwashed into being like each other and thinking different meant uncivilized or nonconformist rather than freethinking and individual. I'll tell you what, there would be a heckuvalot less Mcs', and the frozen food section wouldn't be so cold. I just had some Raw Milk arrive at my doorstep yesterday and had my first glass of cold milk in a MONTH and first glass of cold RAW milk ever. I must say I enjoyed it and the refill that followed very much. I only buy organic. I am committed to spending more money on healthy food and less on materialistic trash. I see the irony in the way the majority of our country views Grocery shopping. I don't desire processed foods or pasteurized milk...it's kind of like reverse corporate capitalism. Rather than pathologically striving for profit for the investor, I am striving for good health for all without regard to money. By the way, do you own a meat market? I truly believe a raw food paradigm is the road to reform. Especially health care, but through the Domino Effect, all other corporate corrupted government regulated industries (I think that includes all of them now) will follow. Peace Will.
