I spend hours each week reading about DTT and VB. My internet service is

almost my lifeline but the rate just went up again and now it's $21.95/

month.

Can anyone recommend a good service?

Thanks

Following are free or low-cost internet service providers and their addresses.

No endorsement implied, I use a DSL that costs alot more because of my job

requirements.

1. NetZero - www.NetZero.net

2. Address - www.Address.com

3. Blue Frog - www.BlueFrognet.net (requires $25 annual fee)

4. DotNow - www.dotnow.com

Many communities have free access through the freenet as well. With these, you

would most likely need to find an email account separate from your provider

through someone like , hotmail.com, Juno.com, msn.com, etc. because I

don't believe the freenets have email services. However, you're generally

better off having a free email service like one of those because if you change

providers, you have to resubscribe to all of your lists, email the changes to

all your contacts etc. But, if you have a separate email program through

someone like , hotmail, msn etc., then it doesn't matter who the ISP is.

The downside to using those is that the spammers will randomly program in names

with the extensions hotmail.com or or msn.com to send junk mail (I

unfortunately get a TON thru Hotmail, and would not recommend using it for that

reason).
