Tina, I’ve done it alone and I’m

also 2b………I’ll be finished in another couple of weeks…….it’s

very do-able! And now you have the support of family and don’t have the

financial burden of medical costs – you really were blessed!!

Deciding to treat

Hi Sam,

I haven't been on here much since I joined recently.....been

researching.....researching....I have been weighing all the pros and

cons of tx too....I am 50 years old....I lost my job before the first of the

year so that meant no more insurance...I live alone (I'm an empty-nester)....wasn't

really sure I wanted to tackle this right now because I didn't have anyone

close to help me in case I did get sick.....I did a lot of praying and

God sent me a wonderful blessing...my family has showed up....being very

supportive....I found a liver doc close by that will see me w/o

insurance....my first appt is the 14th.....and if she says it's ok to do

tx....then I believe I'm ready to try it. Just wanted you to know that you're

not alone in this.......I've already found out that there's a lot of

wonderful and knowledgable people in this group.....and I'll probably be asking

a lot of questions myself....my genotype is 2b...which they say is one of the

easier to treat.....so I'm going to look at this as just another little bump in

the road.....and be healthier and happier once I get over it....I wish you the

best in whatever you choose to do....and remember that there is always strength

in numbers.

Praying for Strength and Healing,

Tina
