Guest guest
My sister is a pilot for AA. She suggests you talk directly to the airline you want to fly. She also suggests you talk directly to the FAA as they set the passenger seating rules for all airlines. You can actualy send them your questions on line. http://faa.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/faa.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?p_sid=uy3xJL7j & p_accessibility=0 & p_redirect= & p_lva=29 & p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NSw1JnBfcHJvZHM9JnBfY2F0cz0xOCZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PTEuMTgmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1kaXNhYmxlZA** & p_srch=1 Only once did I fly with Freddie on my lap. Just not worth the risk. The most dangerous part of flying is taking off and landing. No pilot can control the wind shears on the approach path. Just not worth the risk. Check out this NY Times article. Enough to make you buy the FAA approved CRS!!!! Subject: [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Flights for our kidsTo: "'Down Syndrome'" , DownSyndromeInfoExchange Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 7:25 AM Passing this on for a friend…. Wondering if anyone knows of any special accommodations for our kids for flights. In other words, the cut off for lap children is 2, but, (my 3/12 yr old child) will not sit in his own seat. Do they consider disability when they allow for lap children on flights? Yes, I am trying to save some money too. Flights are outrageous!
