Guest guest
Hello Everyone- I was just wondering if anyone in the group has used Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic (or any of the other Upper Cervical Chiropractic techniques out there) to help their children and what their results have been... The basic premise of Atlas Orthogonal is that aligning the atlas vertebrae allows the spinal cord to pass through unobstructed and also allows the spine to then adjust itself into balance. With the spine's balance comes the central nervous system working optimally which in turn allows the immune system to work optimally. To me, this makes sense. Montel recently did a testimonial on his show about Atlas Orthogonal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiOtb6yM_ow) raving about immediate relief from 5 years of nerve pain in his feet. In reading other testimonials at Upper Cervical websites, I came across testimonials of children with asthma being cured, a child diagnosed with PDD and ADHD (and scheduled to be evaluated for autism) at age 3 overcoming his delays and attending and excelling in a mainstream kindergarten class at 5 with no other interventions, a 24 year old autistic man has improved in both communication skills and gait in just two months, a man suffering from seizures claims the only relief he's received in 5 years and after 9 neurologists comes from this type of chiropractic, and the list goes on and on... Here's the link to the the little boy's story. It's a PDF poster: http://uppercervicaladvocates.com/PDF/beAnAnswerPoster.zip My 18 year old daughter is not ASD or autistic, but has many of the same gut and allergy issues, occasional seizures, and infrequent migraines that used to be much more frequent and severe. She was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 8. My daughter has gone for two half-adjustments as the doctor was reluctant to do too much too fast with her as she is highly sensitive to so many things. With the first adjustment, she felt her spine realign in a sort of 'domino effect' as she laid on the table afterwards. An x-ray after the first adjustment shows much improvement in her neck; the little bit of spine showing in the x-ray no longer appears curved (though the doctor seems too modest to admit it!) and a visual inspection of her back now reveals no curve. Ultimately, our hope is that along with the NAET and naturopathic treatments she receives, the Atlas Orthogonal will help her nervous and immune systems heal so that she will finally be healthy and seizure-free. No doubt Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic won't be the answer to everyone's questions and problems, but we're still holding out hope... If anyone has tried it or plans to, please let us know how it has worked out for you. Take care,
