Guest guest
My son currently goes to an ABA preschool, which is going well. But I beleive that he needs more ABA during each day. For the past 6 weeks a teacher from his school has been working with him at our home after school 3 days a week. We are paying her ourselves. We all think that it is helping him learn faster. Now here is my problem. We have an IEP meeting in April. I think that the school district should pay for the home program. I know it has been done before but they are fighting me. They say that as long as he is progressing they dont care how fast he makes progress. My son is severely affected by autism and is very behind. Does anyone know where I can find info about ABA and how much is appropriate for kids at his stage. Any help is appreciated. karen
