Guest guest
Folks, It would mean a great deal to me if those of you who would like to would light a candle as Jane suggested below. For those of you who asked about doing something, we are asking friends and family to make a contribution in Mark's memory to The Mariposa School in lieu of flowers. This is what Mark would have wanted. Mark and I were putting our own money into the school to keep it going, and obviously this is not going to be possible any more. I want to thank each and every one of you for the outpouring of support, love and concern. I will try to write back to each of you, but obviously cannot do that right now. I was able to talk to the coroner this afternoon, and while they still don't know what happened, evidence is pointing to an arrhythmia. It did not appear that he was thrown from the bike, and he was on a greenway in our neighborhood not far from our house. The chain had come off his bike, so it is also possible that something broke off and caused a sudden fall, but since nobody saw it happen, we will probably never know. If you would like to make a donation to the school, my address is s 104 ParkKnoll Lane Apex, NC 27502 (Cary, NC) persistentC@...
