Guest guest
Am I unreasonable? 72 year old gentleman, retired corporate exec type, with multiple medical problems including fairly severe COPD and known CAD, but still quite the go-getter. Pretty demanding, and recently switched to me because his prior doc did not repond quickly enough to him. Walked in today without an appointment and at the window requested a script for Valium 5mg " because I am going to Atlanta and I need them when I drive down there because the driving is crazy there " ...... My reply was that it is no more safe to take Valium and get behind the wheel than it is to drink, and that I couldn't acquiesce to his demand. To this he said " So you're just telling me to take a swig of scotch (which is under the front seat) and drive on. " I said that my recommendation is that he let someone else drive. Am I being unreasonable here?-- Annie SkaggsLexington, KY
