Hi

I am not sure if LA. Medicaid works the same way but here in LA if a pt

has Medicare part B and Medicaid is paying for it then Medicare will be

the primary payer. Medicare part B will also pay for the immunos.

Medicaid will pay secondary and the PDP will not pay for the immunos but

will pay for all the other drugs.

Hello all. We have a new patient who has Part B Medicare paid for by

Oregon Medicaid, and a Managed MEDICAID plan for non-Part B services.

She also has a Medicare PDP w/LIS.

Since Medicare will not be the transplant payer, who is responsible for

her immunos? The Managed Medicaid plan, or Medicare Part D??? Thanks

for any help!
