Guest guest
To all: I am a teacher of special education services who has been doing ABA with children with Autism for about 7 years. I have taught using the No prompt, No no prompt, and errorless learning. I have recently (this past year) been introduced to verbal behavior to teach children in early intervention and up to age 5. I am now teaching using only this method I am working on improving my skills both at the table and particularly in the NET (I hear this is the toughest). I am in the process of developing guidelines and strategies to teach mands to children in the NET. I would like to have a list of suggestions that can be used by anyone who teaches using VB. The goal is to increase the frequency of mands spoken by children in their natural environment. I have some ideas after addending Carbone's conference and through monthly training with the help of our very fantastic consultant. I would like to get more ideas from professionals and parents to add to my list. Once the list is complete ( or just so many ideas that i can't write it anymore) I will make it available on . Thank you for your help in advance, Jill Basso, MA, Sp.Ed. Special Education Teacher
