Guest guest
Some of the pharmacy charcoals have other things added in. One that we bought without looking at ingredients, had a load of sugar added in, probably to make it supposedly palatable (this was a powder form in an individual service size where all you do is add water and drink. I don't know about gluten. I don't use the pharmacy kinds, myself. I mostly use the powder form-- powder can work more quickly than capsules and you can get a lot more down . But, powder is very messy so if your stomach can take a lot of capsules at a time, it's less messy to mix up. My stomach doesn't like capsules when it's upset, so I prefer the powder mixed with water. I just buy online, check out: http://www.buyactivatedcharcoal.com/ You can check, but I prefer to buy online. > > Is it true there is gluten in a charcoal?! Do we need to order a spec > brand?
