I believe there is a connection between it . If I found the connection the terminology for it would even to complicated for me to understand . But I do know lots of people with vascular problems and hep c .

nv1 - Veins that hurt & Hep C

thank you elizabeth.

i guess vasculitis isn't what i was looking for.

any connection between 'veins that hurt' and hep c?

the veins become tender and pressing on the skin feels like bruise and is painful....

off to do some more research.

Do you have portal hypertension by any chance ? If so the increase in blood pressure from the liver may have something to do with it , or if your cirrhotic then your blood may be messed up which can cause this .

Liz do you think that possibly that they are talking about the fibromyalgia pain that seems to be everywhere? I know when I push on my body in certain places that it feels painful, like a bruise even when there is none.. elizabethnv1 wrote: I believe there is a connection between it . is it only the veins that hurt? Or do you have pain anywhere that you push? No this has to do with advanced liver disease effecting the blood which then effects the vascular system .
