Guest guest
Hi, I know this is not in regards to but this is the group I belong to and was wondering if anyone could tell me what I should do. This morning I went to my sons (2) school to drop off some papers. my sons attend a school which is a c0-op several districts send their children to this co-op. When I reached the door I heard some yelling. As I entered the office I still hear the yelling this was not just a raised voice this was screaming! Apparently the person screaming was the principal of the school! She was screaming at a student--who from what I could see was a boy I know to be very disabled-screaming that " she was very very angry " and stomping her feet! Telling him that he should not be writing on her walls! There were several people in the office that were witness to this tantrum. I came home and called the state board of education and was informed that they have no jurisdiction over the behaviors of employees unless it was a criminal act! So now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I call her supervisor it will certainly backfire and my children will not get the little services they get. If I don't say or do anything I just can't do that. I have contacted my school district special ed director but she is in a meeting. I have documented what happened the time and who was in the room. so my question is what else do I do. I can't even imagine what I would have done if that were my child in there! It is funny how our kids get kicked out of school for this kind of behavior but when it's an administrator well..... So I guess what I need is help and advise it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Iminclub299@...
