Aggression

Hi

My DD, who will be five in May, has developed an aggression problem. I think

it's linked to the fact that she's non verbal and has no reliable means of

communication. She will scratch, bite, pinch, hit - anything; she will even

hurt herself if no-one (or nothing) else is available. This is a new

behavior for

her; before this, she would tantrum but not be physically aggresive.

Any ideas on how I can stop this?

Thanks

Margaret

One of the children in our clinic had a terrible aggression problem. He

started on meds 8 months ago and he is no longer a problem in school, can go

on errands, go out to dinner, Church, vacation (camping, cottages, hotels,

planes), errand, and social engagements without being aggressive towards

anyone. Kathy -NNY
