Guest guest
Hi Rei, Zeem, and , from Sue, Yes...Zinc often needs to be added as well.. . (We do best with 2 tsp.---3 tablespoons of Systemic Formulas ZNC #195 per day....per muscle testing...This may be purchased at Infinity Health.) 2 Studies also show it helps with ADHD. Make SURE you have enough GSH = GLUTATHIONE when adding Carnosine to off-set COPPER /ZINC problems...as PER the Pangborn study. AND DON"T GET TOO MUCH CARNOSINE...a little goes a LONG way. Especially with the LW patches... We muscle test needing it only 4 hours per WEEK for us for maintenance... ( Some people may only need as little as 10 minutes of wearing time every OTHER day... VERY cost effective... will last months ..) SEE full link at bottom of this dialogue for full Pangborn study that I quoted below..... SINCE according to Pangborn.... "ONLY GLUTATHIONE, cysteine, and thionein can intercept the CARNOSINE -copper transport." I cut and pasted the paragraph that Pangborn explains this problem...from the link ...rdklynx1@... once gave us... next Pangborn said--- "However, histidine and carnosine are powerful carriers of copper. They transport copper from the intestinal milieu into the portal blood and from there to organs and tissues in the body. And don't think you can displace copper with zinc ONCE the copper is ON HISTIDINE - you cannot. The equilibrium constant for copper II chelated to histidine is 18.3; for zinc it is 6.7 to 12.9, depending on chelate structure (Ref. Chaberek and Martell, Organic Sequestering Agents, Wiley & Sons, p.549). Because these are exponential relationships, the real difference in the constants is 10 to the 5th up to 10 to the 11th. ONLY GLUTATHIONE, cysteine and thionein can intercept this CARNOSINE-copper transport. " From Sue....I'm thinking... that may be another reason why so many people with spectrum disorders have low zinc levels.. ---since GSH =(Glutathione )levels are low... It just emphasizes ---to me why Glutathione is a CORNERSTONE of good health. for EVERYONE... & as it is known to be LACKING for ASD ... but CRITICAL with the use of Carnosine... according to my Pangborn interpretation below. http://www.geocities.com/fishstep/carnosine.html 2d. Re: Carnosine side effect Posted by: "Rei " milesfunding@... milesfunding Sun Jul 13, 2008 10:15 am (PDT) , while you are using Carnosine, do you give your son glutathione at the same time? or any other compensating supp such as zinc? I read about article that adding zinc can help carnosine work much better.Glutathione is playing a very similar function as Carnosine...Sincerely, Rei Founder/Senior Loan OfficerTX State Mortgage Broker License #75036 TX State Loan Officer License #65838 Miles Funding LLC Rethink Vaccines. Guest guest
Thank you Sue! I have been eyeing these patches for a while and am really set on trying them now that so many people have posted such great experiences with them. We are moving this week so I will probably order in a few weeks. It's great to get this info now though so I am all set when I do get them! Thanks for your help! -------------- Original message -------------- Hi Rei, Zeem, and , from Sue, Yes...Zinc often needs to be added as well.. .
