Guest guest
In regards to the comments about springer etc.... I don't like those shows as a general rule. Because as one of you said---it is all about the ratings. And while I don't watch the shows on a daily basis---I can see the intrigue. Sometimes it is kinda comical to watch someone get on national tv and make fools of themselves just because they don't know any better. It seems like a great deal of those people and ignorant people from the south---and being from West Texas---I kinda like watching my neighbors look like imbesols. I was recently on the Maury show twice. Once in Dec. and again in Mar. The first show I was on was strictly about LP's and " YES " ---for some---it became a pitty party. But I went into the whole ordeal as an opportunity for me to get a forum for my talent (singing.) I had to take the whole situation with a grain of salt, being that I typically find those shows a bit distasteful. I realize that the show I was on wasn't in a bad light at all, but the other show they were taping that day was about " TERRIBLE TEENS GETTING SENT TO BOOTCAMP. " So regardless of what my show was dealing with, I was still associated with the same production. My point in saying all of this is that I had to make a choice. I could NOT do the show and NOT get a chance to show my talent. Or, I could do the show. I did the show. Yeah, it was a bit corny and he did try to make a big deal of the littlest things (i.e.---he tried to make it sound as if it is amazing that these little people can do anything!!!) But, ultimately---I controlled the issue. I was on their to sing. I did. Apparantley I did well enough that they had me back to do it again. I guess what I am getting at is that whether we like it or not (as a whole)---everyones motivation for doing it different. For extreme shows like Springer (which is mostly FAKE)---the LP on the show might just be trying to display some acting ability. THe reason I say that is because I know the person who was the LP prostitute on the Springer show in Feb. sometime. I was working with her in the Radio City play at the time. She is not a prostitute. She is not anything at all like she was portraying on that show. I mentioned that so that some of you can maybe view the situation in a different way. Maybe just realize that it is just TV. And in my personal opinion, it is not going away anytime soon. It is all about the almighty dollar. So, unless anyone can motivate the majority of this world with something other than money---we might as well just deal with it. And speaking of money----I did go on the Maury show to show my singing ability---but I did have another reason. FREE TRIP TO NEW YORK. Nothing wrong with that in my mind. But hey---I might be wrong too. HaHa Danny --- dwarfism wrote: > Looking to unsubscribe? Don't e-mail the list! Guest guest
Dear , Jane and , it is good to see people identifying shared research interests - perhaps culture and health beliefs, and obesity in children could be picked up at the CPHVA research session you are leading on January 24th? I will get some more information from to bring to the meeting. Ros Digest Number
Guest guest
And why didn't I remember the restriction of MY bra! Yes, when you get a spasm you just want to rip it off, or reflux sometimes too. Again, glad we don't have to wear corsets! Lynette in Australia >Oh..... the issue about the bra.... yikes! It's like a vice around my chest... very restrictive...suffocating
Guest guest
Lane, you missed my point. The point is that there are reasons why its hard to profit off rife machines. & nbsp; Pharmaceutical companies, for this very reason, aren't interested. & nbsp; Electricity cannot be patented. & nbsp; Parts are available, as are schematics, in general. And, actually, Dick Loyd's most popular rife machine (the EMEM3DV), CAN be built from parts from radio shack. & nbsp; Straight off Dick Loyd's website, here are construction instructions. & nbsp; Notice that most parts say "get at Radio Shack." http://royalrife.com/chubbuck.html The parts that cannot be bought at radio shack, according to these instructions, can be bought from Mouser, which is an easy-order online electronic shop. Someone with a little electronics knowledge and a free weekend could built the EMEM3DV pretty easily, especially with the help of the detailed instructions available on Dick's site. If this is true, then the definition of "rife machine" has certainly changed. I came very close to getting a Rife device either from Bruce Stenulson, Jim Bare, or Dick Loyd. Neither those devices, nor any of the other ones I investigated, could have been built from Radio Shack parts. -- Lane
