Guest guest
I don't honestly think that *anyone* had more picky children then mine.... My older daughter was so picky that if I didn't give her the foods she actually wanted...she wouldn't eat!!! at all! for days! She may have won, then... but I won the war.... I only kept " healthy " foods in the house... if hubby wanted junkie stuff, he got it at work. Breakfast was usually ice cold, cooked ravioli ...she could pick them up and eat them ... Sandwiches with cookie cutter shapes cut out of them... Raw beans were a definite favourite...and, of course, fruit. My mother, and Da, always said that I was the same way. A constant plate was kept on the table with munchies of a healthful origin... I would wander around all day, between playtimes and the like, and snack on far more food then I was getting at actual mealtimes. I wouldn't worry TOO much about your little one... Unless she/they get lethargic, start losing their hair, or begin have bowel problems...let them go. <Smiles> They eat when they're hungry, for the most part. Another little thing you might want to try..... Making Kefir at home (grains aren't terribly difficult to get, usually), then add fresh fruits to it in a blender... The milk kefir is Awesome for picky kids...after you get them to drink it... " OHHH! Look! Want to help Mommy make milkshakes?! " It's the only way, even now, that I can get my girls (10 and 13) to drink milk! (granted, my milk is Raw Milk, and they just don't like the taste LOL ) Candace Musmeci CaeletNox@...
