Why does my son look like he has chicken pox after starting Valtrex?

We did Valtrex for 4 weeks and are taking 2 weeks off before starting again -

DAN doctor's

orders - at the end of week 4 my son started to get little bumps and blemishes

all over his

body but NOW they look like full on chicken pox, more of them and they are very

red with an

outer ring to them and a head in the middle. I took photos tonight to email to

my DAN as

we're out of country. Anyone else see something like this??
