Guest guest
Thank you to all those who pointed me to the Dolch Sight Words info. Now - a new question. Once you've been through the basic categories, animals, furniture, clothes etc etc there are obviously more to do. My service provider gave me a list of 500 !!!!! but they were from a 1950s speech pathology textbook and I must say " things you do at Halloween " isn't big in Australia. Is there a known ABA list of categories and are they expressively labeled as " Things you cut with / write with / cook with " or would you say 'writing things / cutting things / cooking utensils " ? Is there a norm NT kids use when labeling these categories - my son is 6. Again thanks for the use of all your brains!
