Guest guest
My son is currently on day 25 of Valtrex (750 mg - 250mg, 3x a day) and day 83 of nizoral (50mg 1x a day) and I was going to try to get these Rxs compounded in liquid form but I'm a little confused on the conversion. I called Park Pharmacy but I guess I wasn't clear on what she said...I can't even read my own notes! For Valtrex I wrote 250 mls 3x a day - does this sound right? He also said we've been on nizoral long enough and suggested Diflucan. Our DAN told me to tell him exactly what I want in what form and how much and how often. What I want is to try Diflucan (40 mls, 1 ml a day) (does that sound right? I think I understood the pharmacist on that one) and Valtrex (??? dosing ???) Can anybody help me with this? Also, are you all paying out of pocket for compounded Rxs, or is this generally covered by insurance? Thanks for your help. ~Claudine
