Guest guest
Hi everyone, My 4 yrs old autistic son is having so much trouble keeping his shoes on. He does not like to wear shoes at all period. He like to walk on his bare feet at all time wet, hot, cold.... The teacher is having hard time with him because of his shoes problem, it takes 2 people to put his shoes on and once it is on he kicked them right off. I could not take him anywhere because he won't keep his shoes on. I am very frustrating. If anyone know there is a special shoes and any idea at all please help me out. Thanks. Christ. Guest guest
I once knew another child that had this problem and it was solved by buying lace up ankle tennis shoes like the old style of Converse basketball shoes. He couldn't get them off and after a few months, he was able to tolerate other shoes. Hope this helps...
