Guest guest
I have 2 one-gallon clear glass cookie jars with glass lids (not tight-fitting at all) and before I give them away I thought I'll ask this on here: As a Trad-foodist, is there anything I can/should store in them? I do not bake a lot of cookies. I originally got the jars to make kombucha in, but found it awkward to pour the kombucha out of them into serving containers, so I switched to making kombucha in suntea jars. If I cannot find a suitable use these cookie jars I will give them away. Suggestions anyone? Thanks, , the lady in purple Isaiah 26:3 No God, no peace Know God, know peace
Guest guest
<laughs> being a knitting fanatic, I immediately thought of storing knitting needles or smaller balls of yarn in them! Especially lace yarns, since they're so fine, the colours usually so interesting... I bet that you could make them into some really phenomenally interesting lamps, too! Lamp-kits at most local craft stores are relatively inexpensive...I've made them with my two daughters, when we were doing a small (and eventually unsuccessful) 4-H club here! My girls, at the time, were 8 and 11...and I just really had to help with the actual electrical parts... Candace Musmeci CaeletNox@...
