How did you get your son interested in things like software? My DD also has a very short attention span. Margaret
Guest guest
As 's mother in the giant peach said to her son when he could not see the tallest building in the world while gazing at the clouds in sky on a balmy day, " try looking at it differently " . Probably unnecessary for the above statment but one my favorite lines and actually significant in having you conceptualized my position. My husband loves skateboarding, I do not. No amount of prompting ,suggesting would interest me in stepping on a skateboard. Likewise if you have a computer and software and you yourself play it yourself a few times a week just when the child is near (that is if it is your E.O.) your child may one day approach you and take an interest in playing on the computer. However if your child does not you have your answer the child as no E.O. for computer's. Though it is very likely that in 6 months, 1 year or 2 years your child may naturally develope an E.O. for computers games. Computers are an additional and wonderful way to generalize " some " skills. One last question for all you who grew up in the 70's Piano lesson craze, whom were forced to take piano lessons. Have you established a conditioned lifetime love of playing the piano?
