has eight years experience in working with autism and other

developmental disabilities. She utilizes the science of Applied Behavior

Analysis (ABA) to develop and guide treatment plans. Emphasis is placed on the

development of verbal communication skills. specializes in the

assessment of children with speech/language delays & disorders and the clinical

application of procedures of speech/language acquisition

Rita Chandler,Ph.D., BCBA, Behavior Consultant

Rita has a Ph. D. in Educational Psychology & is a Board Certified Behavior

Analyst. She has 9 years experience working in the field of disabilities with

three years of experience with early childhood special services. Rita is

certified in the special education areas of LD, MR., and SED. She also

utilizes the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to establish and maintain

discrete trial training programs for individuals of all ages who have autism

and PDD. Emphasis is placed on developing individualized programs to teach

skills in the areas of self-help, cognitive, gross/fine motor,

social/emotional, communication, safety & community.

the treatment of autism. Addresses gaining expressive language, compliance and

describes practical and validated solutions to the issues that confound

traditional teaching and therapy methods.
