any survival tips for first week of home program?

Does anyone out there recall the early days of their

child's home ABA program? I'm a nervous wreck. Do

I have the right therapists? Do I have the right

consulant? Are 23 hours a week to many/few for

a three-year-old to start with? Will my son gain ground?

Will he " recover " ? If he recovers, will I ever recover?

How much progress should one expect at first?

How soon should my son " get to the table " or

is there time for him to play with and

get to know his therapists? Perhaps I'm just looking

for moral support.

Incidentally, thanks to all the members of the group

who responded to my question about gluten and casein,

and apologies for being off topic. I had one of those

" just locked keys in car and have slammed door "

moments after I hit send.

Thanks! Tessa.

Tessa,

There is not a perfect " recipe " for recovering a child from autism.

You should stop listening to voices that tell you otherwise. Use your best

judgment just like you do every day as you make decisions that affect your

kids. Enjoy their childhood.
